Acoustic deck systems are frequently used to effectively reduce floor sound transmission. They can be installed in a wide variety of applications for both concrete and timber floors.
Acoustic decks can be used within new build and refurbishment projects. Whether working to Robust Details or Pre-Completion Testing JCW can install an acoustic decking solution that will meet your needs.
When installed by JCW the Deck 19, 28 & 32 Systems will exceed the requirements set out in Part E of the Building Regulations. If the project is a refurbishment the acoustic decking can be overlaid onto flat timber or concrete floors
JCW offer the following acoustic decking options:
- JCW Acoustic Deck 19 comprises a 9mm moisture resistant MDF board with a 10mm pre-bonded resilient layer
- JCW Acoustic Deck 28 comprises an 18mm P5 T&G Chipboard with a 10mm pre-bonded resilient layer.
JCW Acoustic Deck 32 comprises a 22mm P5 T&G Chipboard with a 10mm pre-bonded resilient layer.
- Knauf Brio 18WF & 23WF comprises a Gypsum based board with or without a 10mm pre-bonded wood fibre resilient layer.
