The facility covers more than 4,600m2 over two storeys and includes 773m2 of office space. The new emissions building will allow Bentley to test their own engines as they progress to hybrid and electric models.
Environmental considerations lie at the core of the new building, in line with the company’s sustainability approach, which aims to promote biodiversity and create a greener site environment.
JCW Acoustic Flooring were employed by Barnfield construction to understate the acoustic flooring works to the 1st floor offices within the new emissions building at Bentley Motors in Crewe. JCW supplied and installed the Cellecta Screedboard 20 at the Pyms Lane site in July 2020.
