The Travelodge Hotel built alongside St Peter’s Way opened its doors before Christmas 2011.
The £3 million project, on River Street, Merchant’s Quarter, has 80 bedrooms offering a choice of family, double or rooms with disabled facilities, with each room providing an en-suite bathroom. Travelodge joined up with Bolton-based Seddon Construction to carry out the work on the 0.25 acre site.
JCW Acoustic Flooring Ltd installed 1300m2 of acoustic flooring to the upper floors which was completed in just under 4 weeks. The system installed was a “sandwich” buildup of 18mm P5 Chipboard, 19mm Plasterboard Plank, 25mm Isover Acoustic Slab which is a common Travelodge specification. The project was just 2 miles from our head office in Bolton and was completed in June 2011. This is one of a large number of projects carried out for Seddon Construction Ltd.
