There’s been no let-up for JCW Acoustic Flooring this year, with our team of installers being kept extremely busy in both the North and South of the country.

Here are a couple of projects we’ve recently undertaken:

Project: ENWL, Whitebirk Depot, Blackburn

Product: JCW Batten 75 with Plywood & JCW Batten 75 with Chipboard

Electricity North West have recently built a brand new state-of-the-art training academy at their Whitebirk depot, incorporating five workshops, classrooms, office space and amenity spaces, including outdoor training facilities. The site will be utilised to help train members of staff and will also cater for people looking to begin developing a career in the electricity industry.

Work description:

JCW Acoustic Flooring were employed to lay 635m2 of JCW Batten 75 with Plywood & JCW Batten 75 with Chipboard in July 2013, taking one week to complete. Our parent company JCW Floor Screeding also dealt with all floor screeding requirements to the ground floor areas of the building.

Project: Coram Community Centre, 49 Mecklenburgh Square, London

Product: Knauf Brio 23

Customer: Thomas Sinden

Founded in 1739, Coram was one of the UK’s first children’s charities. They support the UK’s most vulnerable children, young people and families.

Work description:

We laid 100m2 of Knauf Brio23 over routed insulation and underfloor heating. Works completed in August.
